NEW OPENING: COMMERCIAL SALESPERSON
Responsibilities
The Commercial salesperson will focus on growing the new business pipeline at Mint Roofing along with developing new relationships with existing customers who have previously utilized Mint Roofings services. This person will achieve sales goals by using a consultative sales process to generate leads, and prospects, and conduct face-to-face meetings with current and potential customers.
They will conduct detailed, onsite inspections of roofs to accurately diagnose how to best repair, maintain, or replace each roof. The salesperson will generate proposals and gain a commitment from the customer to choose Mint Roofing as their preferred commercial roofing partner.
This position will be knowledgeable of our complete range of roofing products, services, and solutions and focus on exceeding the customer's expectations for service, knowledge, and professionalism. They will collaborate and communicate cross-functionally between Sales, Finance, and Operations.
This position will have a strong emphasis on networking and building relationships with and presenting to general contractors, property managers, facility managers, & private commercial real estate owners to gain new business and grow existing business.
Preferred Experience
Experience in developing new business, account management, and sales
1. A minimum of 3 years experience in sales of roofing, construction, or trades.
2. Develop new relationships and leverage existing relationships within our trusted network- private real estate owners, property managers, project managers, and mechanical contractors.
3. Account management with a strong emphasis on highly engaging customer service, communication skills, and problem-solving.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Computer skills with the following software programs; Bluebeam, Centerpoint, Google Suite, EDGE Estimating, Google Docs, and Google Sheets, and the ability to learn new software
6. Take initiative to solve problems, consistently achieve results, work independently, and work as a team in an entrepreneurial culture.
7. Be able to communicate, influence, and persuade business owners, engineers, facility managers, property managers, and people supervising roof maintenance and repairs.
8. Experience in and knowledge of commercial roofing; ability to creatively troubleshoot. Able to understand blueprints, roof geometry, layout, materials, and warranties.
Qualifications + Certificates + Licenses
- Minimum of three years background in commercial roofing preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Comfortable accessing and walking a roof
