In 1950, a visionary named Lester Dalbec laid the foundation for what would become Mint Roofing. Starting as a one-person operation under the name Lester J. Dalbec Roofing & Sheetmetal, our company began with a simple yet powerful ethos: personal involvement and dedication to every project. Lester would bid on projects and work alongside his crews, setting a standard of hands-on leadership that continues to influence our company culture today.
Evolution and Growth
As we entered our third decade, the torch was passed to Doug Zumbusch, Lester’s trusted associate. Under his guidance, our company continued to grow and evolve, inspiring us to reach new heights and potential.
In 1980, we underwent our first major transformation, changing our name to Dalbec Roofing. This change coincided with a move to Long Lake in 1982, a strategic decision that allowed us to expand our reach and better serve our growing client base.
The turn of the millennium brought another significant change. In 2000, we moved to our current location in Long Lake, a move necessitated by our rapid growth and designed to accommodate future expansion.
The Birth of Mint Roofing
In 2012, we embarked on a new chapter in our company’s story. Dalbec Roofing rebranded as Mint Roofing, a name that reflects our fresh approach to the roofing industry while honoring our rich history. This rebranding wasn’t just a change in name; it represented our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and continuously improving our services.
